DYLAN LORD - Co-camp Director

 

 

 

 

 

Dylan has a year and a half of experience working with youth in Nunavik running a Performing Arts program, he spent a year in Salluit and half a year in Kuujjuaraapik. He has run a variety of activities, events and projects including a instrument lessons, choir, student radio program, audio recording projects, film projects, halloween parades, talentshows and many more. Needless to say, having spent a year in Salluit Dylan is well-acquainted with the community and has a strong grasp of how to successfully run youth programming in the town. Furthermore, Dylan has a combined 5 years of progressive  experience in summer camps. Dylan also possesses a degree in International Development which is more than appropriate for Nunavik - a developing context. 

CAROLINE BOISCLAIR - Co-Camp Director

Caroline has worked alongside Dylan also for a year and a half in Nunavik running a Leadership and Healthy Living Program, also spending a year a in Salluit and then half a year in Kuujjuaraapik. Her resumé of activities, events and projects include cooking class, student council, student newspaper, carnivals, markets and so much more. In addition to this she has 7 years of summer camp experience and more than familiar with what a successful summer camp looks like. Just like Dylan she is well-acquainted with the community and understands how to adapt such programs to the village.

VÉRONIQUE POIRIER JUTRAS- Camp Co-ordinator

 

Véronique is no stranger to summer camp. She has been working in the summer entertainment for 10 years. Graduated as a drama teacher, she can lead artistic activities and make the kids express themselves trough drama and body language. She has a lot of creativity and can come up with a lot of special games. Her experiences provided her some good bases and confidence to lead a group to achieve fun and pride.
